JANUARY ORIENTATION WEEK

We will be holding two orientation mornings on Thursday 23rd and Friday 24th of January at our Highfield Campus. Please register your interest at qte@soton.ac.uk

If you are unsure about what a PhD entails this is your opportunity to find out and see if it is right for you. You will be able to to meet the CDT staff, discuss any aspects of transitioning as an undergraduate and explore the various academic and organisational expectations of doctoral study. See how it would fit in with an employment or a career break, and get the chance to join a research group for a small taster session – availability depending.

There will a presentation with a Q&A session in the Physics Seminar Room, Physics Building no 46 room 5081 on our Highfield Campus time TBC on both days. If you need to discuss travel arrangements please mention this when you contact us.
